Richard Christison

Product Development Manager

Richard Christison, B.Sc. (Hons), born in 1967, has over 30 years experience working within the biotech and pharmaceutical industry, including over 18 years at AstraZeneca. Areas of expertise are in vitro protein expression systems, construct design and protein purification. Richard currently works as a freelance scientist at Toleranzia on a consultancy basis and is responsible for the molecular biology, protein chemistry support and CMC project management.

Jennie Sjöhamn

Senior Research Scientist

Jennie Sjöhamn, born in 1986, has a PhD in chemistry from the University of Gothenburg. Previous academic studies include a BSc in cell biology and a MSc in biochemistry. Areas of expertise are protein expression and purification. Jennie has previously worked as a postdoctoral researcher at the La Trobe Institute for Biomolecular Sciences at La Trobe University in Melbourne and at the Sahlgrenska Academy, University of Gothenburg.

Vijay Kumar Nallani

Senior Protein Scientist

Vijay Kumar Nallani, born in 1982, has a PhD in biochemistry and over ten years of experience in protein chemistry and molecular biology. He has worked in more than five different environments, including as project manager for several customer projects at the Protein Expression Core Facility at the University of Gothenburg, for research and development in protein production at Aquaporin A/S in Denmark, and for collaborative projects between industry and academia. His main areas of expertise are protein expression, protein purification, downstream process development, and technology transfer.

Cecilia Kemi

Program Director

Cecilia Kemi, born in 1976, holds an MSc in Molecular Biology from Umeå University and a PhD in Medicine from Karolinska Institutet, Sweden. She has 15 years’ experience of pre-clinical and clinical development from previous roles working with both smaller biotechnology and large pharmaceutical companies, as well as within academia. She has broad experience from several different therapy areas, with a focus on immunology, as well as organizational expertise in various leadership roles.

Maria Fernandez

Program Director

Maria Fernandez, born in 1987, has a PhD in medical science and an MSc in environmental science from the University of Gothenburg. Previous academic studies include a BSc in pharmaceutical chemistry. Her expertise focuses in immunology and inflammation as well as project management. Fernandez has previously worked within the pharmaceutical industry in Eli Lilly.

John Grünberg

Senior Research Scientist

John Grünberg, born in 1985, has a PhD in medicine and an MSc in molecular biology from the University of Linköping. Previous academic studies include a BSc in chemical biology. His expertise focuses on in vivo and in vitro biology within the field of immunology and inflammation. Grünberg has previously worked as a postdoctoral researcher at the Institute of Metabolic Diseases, University of Cambridge, and at the Sahlgrenska Academy, University of Gothenburg.

Sahidhar Bandaru

Senior Cell Biologist

Sashidhar Bandaru, born 1987, has a PhD in medical science from University of Gothenburg. Previous academic studies include MSc in molecular biology BSc in Biotechnology. Bandaru has previously worked as postdoctoral researcher at the institute of Medicine at the Sahlgrenska Academy, University of Gothenburg. His expertise focuses on in vitro and in Vivo biology in immunology, inflammation, cardiovascular diseases and cancer.

Andranik Durgaryan

Senior Cell Biologist

Andranik Durgaryan, born in 1985, has a PhD in Biology and postdoctoral training from the Karolinska Institute followed by a second postdoctoral training at the University of Linköping and a researcher position at the Sahlgrenska Academy, University of Gothenburg. His expertise focuses on primary cell culture, stem cell research, FACS analysis and DNA library preparation for next generation sequencing.
